Hot Fiesta – Feel the Mexican Vibes at Wazamba

Feel the Mexican Vibes at Wazamba

The new Mexican-inspired Hot Fiesta slot from Pragmatic Play cannot but evoke Mexican stereotypes.

It’s festive music, tequilas, and sombreros that will accompany you in your search for Mexican treasures. So put out the Friday tacos and get started with the slot at Wazamba: https://wazamba.com/nz/.

Hot Fiesta Theme and Main Symbols

The built-in game features may leave more to be desired, but the theme is all the more enjoyable.

In Hot Fiesta, we find ourselves in a Mexican square dressed in party clothes with colorful flag garlands and confetti.

The music is probably the best thing about the slot, and it really captivates you throughout the gameplay.

Symbols follow the same theme as the rest of the slot machine. There are piñatas, sombreros, tequilas, maracas and two festively dressed and happy Mexicans.

Pragmatic Play is certainly not afraid to use stereotypes and neither the theme nor the symbols are particularly innovative, but you know what you get with a name like Hot Fiesta.

How to Make Bets

In Hot Fiesta, you shouldn’t have any problems making your first bet. With the help of the plus and minus symbols, you can dial in the bet you feel comfortable with and then just sit back and let the game take care of itself.

Although the colorful theme and nice music initially lure you in, after a while you realize that Hot Fiesta doesn’t have much to offer beyond that.

The special features are few and don’t offer anything new, while the winnings you get are not always something to cheer about.

This Wazamba slot is easy to get started with, and even though it isn’t a masterpiece, you can still have a lot of fun with it. Especially if luck is on your side.

Hot Fiesta Bonus Rounds

Hot Fiesta has fairly basic gameplay with five reels and three rows. There aren’t too many special features, and they are easy to understand.

Just like in all Wazamba slot machines, there is a wild symbol here in the form of a purple piñata.

This piñata also comes with a built-in multiplier that varies between 2x, 3x, or 5x and is fairly common.

Should more than one piñata land on the reels, the values are added together before being applied to the win.

Scatter symbols also appear on the first, third, and fifth reels in the form of three colorful fireworks with the “BONUS” sign underneath.

If three scatter symbols land at the same time, you’ll trigger the free spins feature, and get a win of 3x the bet.

Before you get to the free spins mode, nine hanging piñatas appear on a stand and each piñata can give you one to three free spins when they pop. Since there are nine piñatas, you can therefore get from 9 to 27 free spins.

Once in the free spins mode, the gameplay goes as usual, but with one difference, namely that the wild symbols that land stay on the board.

However, they are not ordinary sticky wilds, they change position between each spin and if you are lucky, you’ll see piñatas flying all over the screen.

It is also possible to buy into the free spins mode for those who can’t wait to get there. This will cost you 100x the bet.

How Profitable is Hot Fiesta?

Hot Fiesta comes in two different versions. The first one has an RTP of 94.73%, while the second one is rather generous at 96.56%, so be careful to keep an eye out for the version you’re playing. After all, two percentages can make a big difference.

Even though you can win almost every third spin, this Wazamba game has high volatility.

The winnings are often only a fraction of the bet, but the maximum potential is high, as you can get, for example, 27 free spins in the free spins mode with their own version of sticky wilds with associated multipliers.
