Skypark SP5 Skypark Glasgow - information from gm+ad architects Apr 2007 SP5 Skypark Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop Architects have now received Planning Permission for their alterations & extension to SP5 Skypark. The proposed works to SP5 include the provision of 3 new additional floors. The refurbishment of the structural core from ground floor level to fifth floor level. The re-cladding of the gable ends & the 100m Finnieston Street Longitudinal facade. The enormous scale of SP5 has been successfully handled by proposing a ribbon effect of undulating etched glass panels which give the presence of a complete new building rather than just an extension. The gable ends are proposed to be an aqua glass layer disengaged from the existing gable end.
