Planning Approval for Development on Former BBC HQ Site
25 Feb 2009

Applecross granted planning approval for the development of 159 new homes.

The Queen Margaret Drive plans were originally approved Feb 2008 but this new decision by Glasgow City Council approves an amended plan which reduces the number of properties and the size of the underground car park.

The new plan provides for a range of high quality apartments and townhouses. Two listed buildings will be converted into a hotel. Work on the development is likely to start towards the end of 2009.
