Gareth Hoskins Architects’ competition winning design is the first major planning application in the new national park at Loch Lomond. Despite the design having been commended by bodies such as The Royal Fine Arts Commission, the new Park Authority’s Planning advisor recommended the project for refusal on site and policy issues.

Following huge national outcry and support, the committee voted yesterday to approve the application for this much needed facility.
