Cooper Cromar have recently received outline planning consent for the comprehensive redevelopment of the former Farme Cross Trading Estate in Rutherglen on behalf of Vico Properties.
The scheme, which proposes both a 100,000sq.ft Food Retail superstore with PFS and 150,000sq.ft of industrial and factory units to provide opportunities for business start-ups and company growth in the area. 120 two-bedroom flats will be also be built on the corner of the site at Farme Cross.
The appearance along the banks of the River Clyde will be substantially improved with new flood prevention measures being constructed, in addition to the clean up of almost 28 acres of contaminated land alongside Dalmarnock Road and between the River Clyde and Farme Cross.
