Description: Formerly derelict church - 1862 by JJ Stevenson - refurbished in 2003. Oran Mor includes a painted ceiling by Alasdair Grey. Oran Mor (Oranmor) Church, Byres Road, Glasgow has a strong programme of theatre and live music. Oran Mor opened in Jun 2004 with former Head chef at Gleneagles Hotel, Colin Bussey, as Executive chef.

Oran Mor - Dinner:
The GIA dinner 2004, was held in the new West End Venue at 375 Great Western Road on 19 Nov.

The function suite at this west end venue features a ceiling mural by the acclaimed Scottish Author and artist Alasdair Gray. The quality of the venue combined with a excellent menu this years GIA Annual Members Dinner promises to be an event not to be missed.
The 2004 Annual GIA Awards will be announced on the evening and the Awards Exhibition will also be on display on the night at Oran Mor.
