PAN 70
Planning Advice Note (PAN) 70 outlines how planning authorities can deliver the online services that individuals, communities and businesses require.
This may prove to be a mixed blessing for architects - tracking should be easier but people can object with a click of the button. E-planning is designed to increase openness, efficiency and effectiveness in planning service delivery, assisting architects, agents and community groups.
PAN 70 explains how planning authorities can develop websites to allow people to make and monitor the progress of applications; investigate if changes to property require permission and find out about applications in their area and make representations online.
