Having shown two Swedish groups, Americans, Catalans, Germans, English,
French and Dutch architects around Glasgow and Edinburgh this year we
felt it might be interesting to provide a little overall feedback. Of
most interest prior to arrival were Glasgow School of Art and Homes for
the Future, but the latter often seemed to disappoint: concerns about
stains, detailing, integration and density were raised. Spectrum's chicken
wing and Bewley's overhang were much debated plus the Tron's skull and
cherub; but the surprise highlight for many visitors was Central Station
concourse which wasn't requested by any tour, but loved by all

the RIBA website we hope practices will be interested in featuring on
