Glasgow Tours Feedback
Having shown two Swedish groups, Americans, Catalans, Germans, English, French and Dutch architects around Glasgow and Edinburgh this year we felt it might be interesting to provide a little overall feedback. Of most interest prior to arrival were Glasgow School of Art and Homes for the Future, but the latter often seemed to disappoint: concerns about stains, detailing, integration and density were raised. Spectrum's chicken wing and Bewley's overhang were much debated plus the Tron's skull and cherub; but the surprise highlight for many visitors was Central Station concourse which wasn't requested by any tour, but loved by all
