Doors Open - Keppie

exterior, by Renzo Mazzolini
As in previous years, Keppie Design's Glasgow office will be opening their
building for Doors Open Day this Saturday 20th September, from 10am till
4pm. Our office is housed in the former John Ross Memorial Church for
the "Institute for the Adult Deaf and Dumb" and was converted
in 1991 to form our company headquarters.
We are once again teaming up with Ozturk Modelmakers, who recently held
their "Unbuilt Mackintosh" exhibition in our office. Four of
the five models will be on display on Saturday and David Stark, our Managing
Director, will be giving a talk about them and the company's link with
Charles
Rennie Mackintosh at 10.15am and 1.45pm.

Glasgows Zoo to Open up
Zoo are taking part in Glasgow Doors Open Day on 20 September 2003.
The office will be open from 10 am to 1pm to allow people access to our
unique views of Glasgow Central
Station and to view an exhibition of Zoo's work. We are creating
an exhibition wall 4875 mm x 2445 mm of 480 mm square tiles of work -
these are being created using shredded architectural information, drawings,
regulations, photos etc and will be our take on architecture. The wall
will be very photogenic and provide a different perspective on our work.
There will be examples of models around the room and slide shows of our
work on the computers.
Zoo Projects featured in Doors Open Day include the Tramway
