Childrens' Hospice
Further to the major national press coverage and support from prominent public figures such as Ewan McGregor, Scotland's second Hospice for terminally ill children has been granted planning permission. Gareth Hoskins Architects' competition winning design is the first major planning application in the new national park at Loch Lomond. Despite the design having been commended by bodies such as The Royal Fine Arts Commission, the new Park Authority's Planning advisor recommended the project for refusal on site and policy issues. Following huge national outcry and support, the committee voted yesterday to approve the application for this much needed facility.

Former Opera House
“An infamous eyesore building is to be transformed into a trendy new hotel. The crumbling former Opera House in Kilmarnock is to be restored to its former glory if proposals from house-builders Klin Homes are given the go ahead”.

Urbane Zoo
Zoo has just completed work on the recently opened Kelly Cooper Bar, part of the Lowdown and Quigley group. Zoo created a cool, urbane environment for Kelly Cooper's first cocktail bar venture. Kelly asked her Changing Rooms friend, Anna Ryder Richardson, to add some of her trademark glam looks. Check it out at 158 Bath Street, Glasgow.
