Greek Thomson + Rennie Mackintosh : Glasgow House



Lilybank House Glasgow

Lilybank House dates from around 1840.

Designed for Robert Allan; also home to John Blackie

The house was extended by Alexander Thomson around 1869 and again in the 1890s by Rennie Mackintosh.

Now housing the Department of Economic and Social History the building is located off University Gardens, just west of the central Library building in Hillhead.
