The Cowcaddens site of 2.4 acres occupies a prime city centre location, with
frontages on Hope Street, Renfrew Street, Renfield Street and Cowcaddens Street. Set in the much sought after cultural district, the site is currently the headquarters for Scottish Media Group, which will be moving to Pacific Quay adjacent to South Rotunda on the banks of the River Clyde.
The proposed development from Scotia has been designed by leading Glasgow architects Cooper Cromar and includes 314 luxury studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, 1,438 square metres of retail space and 239 underground parking spaces.
Martin Bruce, managing director of Scotia Homes, said: “Cowcaddens is an exceptional site and provides a huge opportunity to create a landmark mixed-use development in the heart of Glasgow. We are delighted to be involved with such a prestigious development, which will add a new dimension to this part of the city.”
